An extraordinary Australian opal with swirls of aqua, sky blue, and blush pink is the star of this necklace.

The pear-shaped, .42 ct opal is set by hand in 22k yellow gold (with sterling behind the opal), and gets a touch of sparkle from the addition of a round, post-consumer recycled diamond. The pendant's bail and diamond setting are both crafted from 18k yellow gold.
