Mended Heart Pendant

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have been listening to Dr. Michael Osterholm's Covid-19 podcast, and found it to be a great source for information. Dr. Osterholm is a world-renowned epidemiologist who has been able to explain the science - but he also emphasizes the human toll, especially on the families of healthcare workers who have lost their lives - and encourages listeners to engage in a "pandemic of kindness". This was the inspiration for the Mended Heart Pendant.

Dr. Osterholm was also the visionary behind The Frontline Families Fund which supports the families of healthcare workers who have lost their lives to COVID-19, with a special emphasis on "the disproportionate impact this pandemic has had on healthcare workers who identify as BIPOC".
