stalactite slice earrings
Be prepared to receive compliments when you wear these earrings because their uniquely-shaped, swirling-patterned gems are mind-blowing!
Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral that forms stalactites, which are icicle-like formations hanging from cave or mine ceilings. When polished, the stalactite slices become stunning gemstones.
These one-of-a-kind drop earrings feature slices with swirls of vivid teal and turquoise colors. The upside-down-teardrop-shaped malachites are carefully hand set in oxidized sterling silver with 18k yellow gold prongs. They are paired with .24 ct total weight round, pale-blue Australian sapphires and .11 ct total weight round, post-consumer recycled diamonds, each of which are set in 18k yellow gold.
The French wires are also made from 18k yellow gold, and the earrings measure 3/8" wide by 1 3/4" long.
