It’s been a fantastic summer – after I went to Albuquerque for the Saul Bell Awards and the Santa Fe Symposium, I went to Las Vegas to exhibit at Premier, and shortly after that headed up to Grand Marais, Minnesota for the Findings Symposium at the Grand Marais Art Colony.
I just returned from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I attended the Santa Fe Symposium and the Saul Bell Awards (spoiler alert: I won!), both hosted by the jewelry supply company Rio Grande. My husband Adam was excited to join me, and we had the best time on our trip!
I am freshly back from Baltimore, where I had a fantastic time at the American Craft Show! I’ve attended this event for many years, and it always gives me the chance to reconnect with colleagues, meet fans of my designs, and chat with new stores and galleries. Read more about the show here...

After the trunk show at Alchemy 925 in Belmont wrapped up, we visited Harvard’s Museum of Natural History, where we spent some time checking out their fantastic collection of mineral specimens. In this blog post, I show side by sides of various gems in rough form, and finished jewelry!
